Meet Vanessa Cherry

Vanessa Cherry is a Mexican-American bilingual singer-songwriter, recording artist, composer, and filmmaker. Blending Tex-Mex, neotraditional country, Latin, and rockabilly influences, she creates a bold fusion of conjunto, country, and dance rhythms.

After founding the acclaimed all-female mariachi group Las Coronelas, she formed her new project, Texas Martini — a dynamic ensemble of South Texas latin musicians. A powerful performer known for her magnetic stage presence, Cherry has shared the stage with Robert Rodriguez’s band CHINGON, appeared in From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series, Emilio Estefan's Latin American Idol, recently performed a cameo on Mo The Series and recorded a title song for Netflix’s Seis Manos. Equally at home with fiddle and guitar, she moves seamlessly between smoky Texas dancehalls and vibrant Mexican cantinas, delivering an unforgettable mix of Mexican mystique and unapologetic glamour.

In Vanessa Cherry’s world, musical boundaries are meant to be crossed with creativity and confidence.
